These are small electric motors giving you power from 50-1000W to power your Planes, Cars or Boats.
No need to be confused by the wide range of available motors. Here are some basic thumb rules and tips for choosing the right one...
* You need appx 100Watts of power for 500gms of plane for decent flight, for 1kg choose min 200W for sedate flying and so on.
* For more aerobatic flight and 3D go for 150+ W for 500 gms of plane weight.
* Watts = Volts(Battery Voltage under load) x Current drawn
* All Brushless motors require a Brushless Speed Controller.
* Outrunner Brushless motors spin larger sized props directly and do not need gear boxes.
* 0.25 size engine can be replaced by a 350-400W Motor
* 0.40 size Engine can be replaced by a 600-800W Motor
